Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence

At Excel Trining, we don’t impose a minimum or maximum number of lessons. We offer as many sessions as you need to ensure you’re ready for your test. Upon passing the practical driving test, your existing licence will be upgraded free of charge with the new HR class added. Plus, having this licence makes it easier to upgrade to a Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) licence in the future.

Eligibility:

To upgrade to an HR licence, you must have held a car licence (minimum Red Plates) for at least 24 months and successfully complete the Heavy Vehicle theory test with QLD Transport, which can be done on the same day as your practical test.
