TLIC4006 Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle Overview

This unit is designed to provide trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to drive a multi-combination vehicle safely. You will learn to maintain efficient control of all vehicle functions, couple and uncouple dollies, monitor traffic and road conditions, manage vehicle performance, and effectively handle hazardous situations.

Driving must comply with the licence requirements and regulations of the Queensland Roads and Traffic Authority for multi-combination vehicles. Training involves limited supervision, with some accountability for achieving the required outcomes. You will apply routine driving principles to ensure the safety and operation of a commercial multi-combination vehicle in various contexts.

To be eligible for TLIC4006, you must hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence for at least 12 months at the time of application.
